Danielle Levac

Dr. Danielle Levac is Head of the Musculoskeletal Health, Rehabilitation and Medical Technologies Research Axis at CHU Sainte-Justine and Deputy Scientific Director of the Pediatric Rehabilitation Technopole. She is also an Associate Professor at the University of Montreal, specializing in the use of virtual reality and immersive technologies to enhance pediatric rehabilitation, particularly for children with cerebral palsy. Through her LaboINSPIRE program, she collaborates with children, families, and clinicians to develop, evaluate, and translate digital therapeutic tools into real-world clinical and home environments. Her career spans clinical pediatric physiotherapy, advanced research training at McMaster University and the University of Ottawa, and a faculty position at Northeastern University supported by major research funders. She also co-leads initiatives such as the RéadapTechno Club, promoting innovative assistive technologies for individuals with disabilities.
